What is AI-generated

The two voices you hear, George and Dave, are synthetic. They are not recordings of people, they are not ADI employees, and they are not actors. The audio is generated from a written script using text-to-speech.

The script itself is drafted with AI assistance from a written brief, then it becomes the episode. Nothing is improvised, because nothing is spoken until the words already exist.

What is not

The questions are real ones ADI Leak Detection gets asked by homeowners, landlords, leaseholders and managing agents. The answers come from how ADI's engineers actually work: the equipment they use, the order they use it in, and what it can and cannot find.

The company is real, the engineers are real, and the work described in these episodes is work ADI does. What is synthetic is the delivery, not the substance.

Why the transcripts are exact

Most podcast transcripts are produced by running finished audio through speech recognition, which introduces errors, particularly on technical terms and names. These are the other way round. The script is written first and the audio is generated from it, so the transcript on each episode page is not an interpretation of what was said. It is what was said, word for word.

That is the reason every episode has a full transcript on the page rather than a summary, and why reading is a genuine alternative to listening rather than a poor substitute for it.

Why we say so

What this podcast is not

It is not a substitute for having someone look at your property. An episode can explain how a leak under a solid floor is usually found; it cannot tell you where yours is. If you have a leak, the answer is a survey, not a podcast.
